The last edition took place on the 24th of July, 2010 and hosted more than 65,000 of clubbers which confirmed this event as the biggest dance event from Romania.
Liberty Parade means:
- a tradition spanning over nine years;
- just one big pure expression of the free spirit;
- house music "all night long", more than 12 hours of beats and grooves;
- a big caravan of people without worries;
- totally out of the box costumes;
- bass sounds mixed with the noise coming from big trucks' engines;
- friends, thousands of friends in the spirit of good dance music;
- crazy haircuts and flashy make-ups;
- BPM rhythms making the hearts pumping;
- thousands of hands waving in Liberty Parade Arena as a human wave controlled by some of the biggest DJ's of the moment;
- a music pill consistent enough to give you energy for the whole summer;
As in every year, the entrance to this event is free of charge due to the contribution of sponsors which don't save resources in making this parade bigger with every year passing by.
The Black Sea Coast in Romania is seen like Eastern Europe's Ibiza attracting every year most of the major names in the dance music industry. Bucharest is also an important hub for the clubbing industry with important investments in middle size venues which can compete with similar locations from much more developed markets.
Romania became also the biggest exporter of music from Eastern Europe and also a trend setter, many artists starting to conquer the worldwide charts.
