What is Justice?

Expert Author Carole Tomlinson

Justice brings about the understanding of what is fair, right, deserved and appropriate. Justice refreshes the victim to feel replenished again as an act against him or he has been released and vindicated within the courts. It means that the defendant will pay for his crime and will be accountable for what the behavior was that brought him or her into court.

Justice is the realization that something went wrong. Something was incorrect and punishment is advised for the act of wrong. It is gaining what is justifiable in court. It is not to overlook a wrong done to the plaintiff but to realize the wrong and create a payback as well deserved.

The idea of justice can range from the biblical notion of an eye for an eye to the idea that when the Exxon Valdez dumped millions of barrels of oil along the Alaskan coastline that the company should pay the residents punitive damages for destroying their way of life.

Society holds a set frame of reference in which it taps on its remarks whether from a set precedence or a statutory realization that a law was broken and now its time to rebuild what is right and to correct the damage.

Justice gives the victim a way of freedom as justice is deserved. It gratifies the closure of a wrong done and rebuilds the character felt within its safe walls.Justice defies the evil that sets forth to destroy families, communities and society itself. Justice weaves together what has been unraveled and gives a solution to the error that has been brought to be judged.

I have a love for the law and know its boundaries within society. If you wish to read more of my articles please go to http://www.caroletomlinson.com thank you.
