What is Endoscopic Forehead Lift? Who is a Good Candidate For a Forehead Lift?
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

As each and every person ages, so does their skin and it is through their skin that people are able to guess how old you really are. The skin itself starts to become thinner and it begins to loose its elasticity and sags. When this happens you will begin to see wrinkles and the fine lines, which have always been there, become more visible.

The forehead is considered to be a prominent part of a person's face and since it is the face that is most often seen first, anyone who is aging may start thinking about a forehead lift as a way of looking more youthful than they actually are.

In the endoscopic forehead lift procedure, the surgeon will make a series of incisions along the patient's hairline and realign the underling tissues such as the muscle masses. After this realignment is performed, the surgeon will then pull the skin tight and suture up the incisions. This will leave excess skin exposed outside of the sutured area and the surgeon will simply cut off this excess skin and dispose of it. Because the skin is being removed, the forehead lift is not a reversible procedure so it is important to make you surgeon selection appropriately. Make sure that the surgeon you choose has a proven success rate as well as plenty of experience and that they are certified by the board of plastic surgeon to perform the forehead lift procedure.

No one wants a botched procedure in which you will end up with noticeable scarring along the hairline and the skin itself will look unnaturally tight. Prevent this from happening by simply making sure you choose a surgeon with a substantial amount of experience in the forehead lift procedure and make sure you are a good candidate.

Find out more about forehead lift right now. Find out what a forehead lift can do for you, if you are a good candidate, risks, side effects and the forehead lift recovery
