Many golf courses have dress codes for both male and female golfers. I have seen people not properly dressed at a golf course be denied play because of what they were wearing. Below are a few golf attire choices that will be acceptable at any golf course.
What should men wear on the golf course?
Men have a few choices when it comes to golf wardrobe, the first being the pants or shorts. Khaki pants or shorts are usually the safe choice for most golfers, cut off jean shorts, cargo shorts and bathing suits should never be worn. As for shirts, male golfers should wear collared shirts. In the event that it is a cool day, sweaters or wind breakers are also permitted.
What should women wear on the golf course?
Like men women can also wear pants or shorts, again jeans and cutoff jeans are not permitted. Skirts are also permitted however they should not be to short. Women may also wear collared shirts or sweaters. Women should not wear tub tops or crop tops.
Shoes:
Men and women should both ensure that they wear the proper shoes. Golf spikes are usually the preference, however sneakers are permitted. You should not wear sandals or use metal spikes when playing around.
