Ebook readers are the wave of the future. No longer do you have to run to the bookstore, pick up a book and glance through it. You don't have to worry about losing a book, bookmarking what page you're on, as well as other things. The size - An Ebook reader shouldn't weigh as much as laptop. You will want to consider something that is going to be lightweight, as well as something that is going to be fairly easy to carry around.
The display - If your sight isn't the best thing in the world, you may find that you will want a bigger screen. Screen sizes are going to vary anywhere from 6 to 10 inches. That extra inch or so can look like a lot more, trust me on this one.
The keyboard - Since you're going to have to search and type here and there, do you want to use an actual keyboard or do you want to use a touch screen? In my opinion, I tend to like a keyboard that I can use physically. I was never able to use one that touchscreen as my fingers are too fat!
Battery life - This is probably one of the more important ones. You will want a battery that is going to last long. The last thing that you want is to show up on vacation and your Ebook dies.
Storage - The last thing on my list is storage. The more storage you have, the more you're going to be able to read. Since Ebooks don't really take up that much space, you're not going to need 1000s of gigabytes.
