Most people think they only should do garage sales when they are going to move to another house. Well this is not wrong also not right. People can have their yard or garage sales whenever they see their house is start to mess up, or they found their warehouse is getting packed.

Even they can sell a new stuff as well when they have their yard or garage sales. They can buy stuff in bulk and then sell it retail if they want. Of course you can not sell all with the new stuff. So my idea is, instead of waiting for you to move to other house to have the garage sales, why don't you do it periodically.

You can have it every 3 or 6 months. By doing this, not only your house will always look tidy, also you can generate income from it. I can say it is not small money, but also can be a BIG money if you know how to do it properly.

Maybe some of you confuse which stuff they must sell when having a yard or garage sales. Well it is quite easy actually. First you make a check list, which stuff that you never use for the last 1 year, this is your first priority item to sell. And then you can search through your house.

For example you can browse your bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, etc. And then before you sell it, you need to do some fix and clean to the items that need it. Remember, people won't buy your items if it looks dirty and broken, so please do your home work before the event starts.

And in order to save your time, you need to label every item that you sell, otherwise you will end up by answering everybody that ask for the price.

Also please handle you money carefully, do not put it on the table or somewhere that people can have an easy access to it. I will have more articles to come regarding yard or garage sales, so please stay tune.
