Your diet should contain a balance of proteins, carbohydrates, fat, minerals, vitamins and fibers. It is always recommended to scrutinize what amount of these ingredients you are taking in your diet. Now, there are other kinds of food which contain a fraction of the above mentioned ingredients that are very useful for the skin. It is said that good food and good sense gives a great skin so start eating good food for a great skin.

Fish:
Fish is high in proteins and it is advised to eat at least once a week. The oil in the fish brings extra nourishment to your skin giving it a very healthy shine and glow. It also helps in making your skin smooth and silky.

Berries:
These include plums, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. They have excellent antioxidant properties which help your skin look healthy and glowing.

Water:
Your body requires certain fluids so that toxins and other waste materials are expelled from your body. This act would enhance your skin beauty leaving it clean and clear. The best fluid to take in is water. It has excellent refreshing qualities. It provides hydration facilities to your skin, giving it the moisture and nourishment it requires.

Green Tea:
Another fluid after water that gives wonderful effects to your skin is green tea. It is also known as a herbal tea which has anti-inflammatory characteristics due to a substance called polyphenol. It removes toxins and other waste products from the body, giving your skin the perfect glow and shine. Drinking two cups of green tea a day would give the desired results.

Almonds:
They have the essential oils for skin care. They provide your skin with nourishment and softness which further adds beauty to it. When eaten without their skin, they have good results but if used with skin, they are known to be excellent exfoliators for the skin. This exfoliation removes any dead cells from the surface of your skin, leaving it clean.

Apples:
Apples are known to do wonders for your skin. They are believed to have such good properties that they could make your skin flawless. They contain iron in them which adds that extra blush to your cheeks giving you a healthier look. Your pale complexion is changed to pinkish white when apples are included in your diet. If they are applied as a face mask, your skin would feel refreshed. It adds nourishment and a glow to your face, making your skin soft, smooth and silky. One apple a day would keep all your acne and pimples away!
