What Does it Take to Be a Young Successful Entrepreneur?

Expert Author Samantha Kerik

Everybody want to be living their dream, their passion, So what does it take to live your dream and be a Young Successful Entrepreneur?

First of all, it takes guts. You have to be willing to stand up without regard and stand outside of the crowd and be a leader. Sometimes, this is not the easiest task.

There can be many things that bog you down as a leader and keep you from being that fabulous young successful entrepreneur that you drive to be.

The Number 1 Hurdle of The Successful Entrepreneur IS FAMILY.
As much as I hate to say this, family is D-R-A-M-A. They want to see you succeed. Or at least that's what they say. They will do anything in this world to help you succeed, and unfortunately this quality can be very limiting - that is until you have proven your own financial rewards. Involving Family in your business life can leave you feeling in debt and in reliance of their assistance. This is not a good thing. The problem with this is this creates a funnel where you may feel indebted to fill their needs before your own, which can Murder your chances of being a Young Successful Entrepreneur.

To often it seems we allow money to rule our emotions, when money is involved it can destroy and own relationships. To be a young successful entrepreneur it's in your best interest to keep your financial projects to yourself, because family will always have an opinion, I mean, they know whats best for you....right!?. Weather they helped you out financially or not. The only problem is - when you allow family to help you out, financially, your putting a collar around your neck. It's better to just stay away from that road all together and feed your own ambitions.

The Second is Self Pity.
You've taken a chance on yourself and you've done your homework, your working as hard as you can, your branding yourself, your producing quality content.. your not getting the results you want. So you've entered "woo is me" haha, and now you talk to your family and friends because you want some advice... and they tell you to get a job. The Circle begins. You listen because your not doing as well as you hoped.... do not allow this to happen! Keep Charging! You CAN Do it! Maybe you just need to be more selective in your niche. Perhaps you really don't understand your goal yet. That's ok. Talk to someone who has walked the path before you, someone who has seen success and look up to them for some advice, only you will know your niche, and this takes soul searching, but it will help to have some inspiration... and don't worry, because everyone goes through this stage! You'll get knocked down, kicked around... it'll all part of the learning curve.

Third... Depression.
Big word. Your not getting it. Your environment is poisoning you, your self doubt has eaten you... you hate the job your in, your obsession, passion, and motivation is fading....fast. You look around and your suffocating. Prices have risen, the recession is going nowhere awfully fast - you can barely eat... your getting to a point of desperation. Its kill or be killed. What do you do?

The first thing you need to do is find a leverage to get you out of your funk. A friend perhaps that you've forgotten about. Someone none judgmental, who has looked up to you in the past. We are all inspires of inspiration. Someone who can tell you that your great, that you can do it, without giving "advice" is your best medicine. Someone who is going to inspire you to inspire them.

~ A Word of Warning ~ keep your depression out of social media - this is network suicide!
I remember, years ago, when I was on top of my modeling game, and I hit a depression....While I was so desperate for someone to talk to I shouted out to my entire network looking for someone to talk to - I ended up losing basically my entire network, and my confidence to go with it. Do not let this happen to you.

Set Yourself Free!
The Best thing for you to do is use your fear, pain, isolation, as fuel for your work! If your a seamstress then fill your work with your tears, grab onto your passion and create, create, create! And make the best work of your life! In most cases if you use your hurt as fuel for your creativity you will create the best work of your LIFE! Let this happen!!! and be praised that you've gotten an amazing opportunity for this creativity.

The Light after a fight is the brightest light you will ever see! So when your a young entrepreneur battling for you place of success...Continuous, Consistent, Persistence is Key!

Never Give up always keep studying, and learning, keep yourself aligned with a motivational and supportive mentoring team, attend weekly webinars and keep your motivation 'level'. I promise, just keep going, there is a light at the end of the tunnel... After sometime, you will turn around and see that you have become that Young Successful Entrepreneur that you have fought to be.
