What Do You Want Your Flat Stomach to Look Like?

Who doesn't want a flat stomach? I know I do! What does your ideal stomach look like? If you don't know - how will your know when you reach your goals?

Setting goals is a major part of any diet and workout regiment. If you don't know where you are trying to go to or what you are working towards you'll have no idea when you've gotten there. Its just like when you are driving a car - you know your final destination - so you know when you get there. You need to take the same attitude when it comes to your workouts and fitness goals. If you don't know what your ideal flat stomach looks like then you'll never get there.

In order to help you with a more effective workout I've described three stomach types below, in order to help you figure out where you are trying to go.

Flat Stomach #1 - The Six Pack

Getting this type of stomach (true defined six pack abs) is a dedicated process. You must make sure that you follow your workout and diet plan meticulously. If you want a TRUE six pack, you can't skip a workout and you have to make sure that every cardio session is perfect. Plus, your diet must be SUPER clean - no cheat days or feeling like you don't want too. This type of hard core stomach is not something you see on a woman everyday, but it is one that requires pure dedication, hard work, and knowing where you want to go.

Flat Stomach #2 - A little definition

If having a truly defined six pack is too much for you then maybe you want a stomach with a little definition, but not too much. This type of stomach has the outline of a six pack, but it is not totally apparent. When you see a woman with this stomach you know they are dedicated to their health and workouts. To get to this type of stomach you must still be dedicated, but a cheat day here and there won't hurt you too much. However, if you do cheat you better get on the treadmill and kick your cardio up a notch.

Flat Stomach #3 - A smooth stomach

Most women just want to have a flat tummy. They don't want to see any ab definition, they just want the 'pouch' on their stomach to go away and to be confident on the beach in their bikini. To get this type of stomach you must still be dedicated to your workout and clean eating, however, you may not have to do AS many crunches as the women with the first two options would like to do.

No matter where you are trying to go - make sure you stay focused and have a plan on how you are going to get there and you can have the stomach of your dreams.
