This way you can grow your own list by adding a sign-up on your landing page, and then at a later time send your new visitors to your own favorite network marketing affiliate program.

Building that initial list is no longer as hard as it was some time ago. You can do this with the help of social sites such as MySpace or Face book. If you have some spare money you could also try advertising on Google, Yahoo, MSN or the other major search engines. You might also want to try giveaway events and doing smaller ad-swaps.

But remember, if you want to build good long terms JV relationships you have to pick very carefully the network marketing affiliate program you want to promote to your list. Stay away from the cheap "me-too" type poorly designed products and you should be fine.
