There are many explanations and instructions on keywords and how to use them. This is a simple and effective explanation as to what keywords are. They will be very important to the success of your blog, because using keywords correctly will bring traffic to your blog and of course, traffic is always the goal.

Keywords simply put, are a search term a person would type in on a search engine that would direct them to your blog. Let's say your blog is about how to get fit in 6 weeks. You then ask yourself "what would I type into a search engine to reach my blog?"

Now, to get these searches to your blog, you will need to lace your site with the keyword terms you have chosen, but be careful not to overdo it. Put them in your articles.
