1. Wealth distribution would be disastrous because it takes from the successful and gives to the unsuccessful. The successful contribute to the wealth of the nation. The unsuccessful do not. They would diminish it greatly if given wealth without effective efforts to contribute. Rewarding people for failure will not make them successful. They need temporary help and training to get back on their feet.
2. American economy was not built on wealth distribution, but on each person working and saving to buy the necessities and luxuries they could afford. This created jobs for the ones that supplied them. Those willing to risk their money in a business of their own created jobs for others as the business grew and developed. America became great because of individual businesses competing to provide the best product for the least cost.
3. True wealth must be earned. To often when someone wins the lottery or inherits a large sum of money, they quickly blow it on pleasures and are broke in a short period of time. People who cannot work because of physical difficulties and seniors who worked all their lives deserve help. Many do not want to work, but take a handout from Uncle Sam. This violates biblical principles. If anyone is not willing to work, he will not eat (Second Thessalonians 3:10).
4. People who do not contribute to society by working and earning lessens the economy of the nation. No nation can have a strong economy that has a large number of able-bodied people not working but collecting handouts. If wealth is distributed in this manner, the country would always be broke. Those that collect handouts have no incentive to better themselves with employment. We need to create more jobs to put them to work.
5. Those too lazy to work and the unsuccessful do not deserve wealth. This should be reserved for those who contribute to the nations wealth. When you earn your living, it trains you how to manage money. When you work for what you have, you learn to spend it wisely. If given wealth, many of those unaccustomed to it would not know how to manage it, and would soon be broke.
6. Business people who make a profit deserve it. They should not be punished with high taxes. High tax gives no incentive to continue in business, and this causes many of them to close their doors. This contributes to unemployment when their employees lose their jobs. Rewarding the unsuccessful and unemployed would not help them to become self-sustaining but contribute to their dependence on society.
7. The unemployed should not be given wealth without working but trained for a good job. With thousands going back to work, this would boost the economy greatly in a short period of time. We were created to work. The satisfaction of doing a job well does wonders for physical and mental health. It gives self respect. The cost of health care would go down greatly, because they could afford insurance, and be sick less.
8. Thinking that this country could pay off massive debts and at the same time give trillions to those who do not contribute to the nations economy is nothing but a pipe dream. The dollar is being devalued which means everything is more expensive. This tremendous cost plus the outrageous tax increases proposed would push many working Americans below the poverty level.

The great American dream is in danger of being lost. Washington bureaucrats are building up such a debt that it may never be payed off. Fortunately, we Americans are a hearty lot and we will get through it. Greed was the downfall of our economy. It is one more proof that the sins spoken of in the Bible will destroy. Our greatest enemy is not the recession but sin. Everyone sins, but those in God's kingdom are forgiven. Being unforgiven will destroy you. If you have no spiritual training, you need the book, "Climbing the Heavenly Stairs." It will get you acquainted with God's requirements for salvation. Read more at: http://thelynnbradleybook.com.
