Entrepreneur Magazine estimates that $427 BILLION is generated each year by home based businesses. 69,000 individuals start a home based business every week!
According to Robert Kiyosaki, author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", by the end of this decade 1 in every 2 households will have a home based business.
Success Magazine says that Network Marketers is creating FORTUNES at break-neck speed.
Robert Kiyosaki says:
"If I had it to do all over again, rather than build an old style type of business, I would have started building a network marketing business."
Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki came together and wrote a powerful book on "Why we recommend Net Work Marketing. Net Work Marketing: The industry for people who want to change their lives!"
Something I learned early on was to take the advice of successful people if I wanted to be successful. Why would I take the advice of a person barely stretching their paycheck from week to week unless I wanted to be a person barely stretching my paycheck from week to week? When men like Robert Kiosaki, Donald Trump, and Warren Buffet extol the virtues of network and multi level marketing, I listen!
Now, it would seem that the "Step Child" of business models has quietly become "Master of the house"! Argue as you will about network marketing and MLM being "scams", and "rip-offs", but statistics say that these business models are more likely to make you successful than any other business you can start. Low investment costs compared to franchises or independent distributor fees just makes this more sense.
Here are some of the arguments against Network marketing.
"Only the top 5 or 10% make any money! The rest go broke!"
In the off line world, 90% of new businesses fail in the first year. Of those that survive the first your, 90% fail the second year. Whether on line, or off line it is those people who work the hardest, and work the smartest who succeed. Both are businesses, and have to be run like a business.
"Anyone who pays a company to work for them is stupid!"
Tell that to the thousands upon thousands of people who own successful franchise businesses. The difference is where an independent distributorship with a Network marketing company may cost you from under $100.00 to maybe a thousand, a franchise can cost multiple thousands of dollars. If you add to that the expense of building a storefront to Company specs, hiring and training employees, and a multiplicity of other expenses, which is more likely to produce a profit sooner?
"MLM's are illegal! They are just variations of the pyramid scam."
The difference between a legitimate MLM and a pyramid scam is simple. If there is no product to sell, or little emphasis is placed on the product and everything is geared to recruiting new recruiters, it's probably a pyramid scheme. The product is the key. No product? Run!
Now in summation, I would like to say that arguing with prejudice is always a losing battle. Prejudice is not based on fact, but on fantasy and ignorance of the facts. If you have your mind made up that Network marketing is a scam, I can't change it. If, however, you have an open mind, and simply do the research, you will find a tremendous opportunity that can change your life, and the lives of your family. Don't you owe it to yourself and them to find out?
We have been placed in the situation of needing to make a change. Getting a job is no longer the answer to our problems. There IS a better way, and network marketing is the answer.
