There are endless ways to get in shape - but finding ways that don't make you dread your exercise can be a little more difficult. This is why I've put together my top five fun ways of getting fit without even trying. These are a little creative and different from the norm, but they'll all help you to get your body back in shape.
1) Dance Classes
One of the best fun ways to get in shape is to dance. There are so many different types of dance class these days, you're bound to find one that suits you. Better still, go with a friend. It's a fantastic night out and you'll be burning calories at the same time! When you're not out at your class, just put on some uplifting music at home and dance around the place. See how tired you get in just thirty minutes - you'll be getting a fantastic workout without even trying!
2) Play With Your Pet
If you've got a dog then it's time to start bonding. It's great fun going for a long walk or run with your pet - you'll see how happy it makes them and it'll eventually make you fitter, too. Run around with the dog, throw some balls, just get him excited and worn out!
3) Play Sports With Friends
It might seem daunting to go down the gym four times a week, but replace this with playing sports with friends and you'll feel a lot more motivated. Whether that means playing football in the park or just throwing and catching a Frisbee - these are all perfect ways for you to enjoy yourself and help give yourself more ways to get in shape without even trying.
4) Run for A Good Cause
Going for a run every night may seem like an effort, so why not sign up to do it for a good cause? The thought that you'll be training to eventually do a run for charity will keep you going through the harder times. You'll be helping out a good cause, and you'll be helping yourself in the process.
5) Get A Fitness Game
One of the most popular ways to get in shape these days is to use a fitness game. Games like the Wii Fit help to motivate you to exercise by turning it into a game. If you're one of those people who really can't motivate yourself to get out and active, then buying a game like this could be just the thing you need!
