With people's busy lives juggling work, taking care of the kids, house cleaning it's hard to find time to workout. There are many ways to actually to stay in good shape without having much time to spare.
There are many mini-workouts that you can do throughout the day to be in good shape. I'm not saying you will be ripped with six pack abs, but you will be healthy and lean.
1. Walk and talk
When you are talking on the phone, stand up and walk and talk. Whether you are sitting down or walking around, you're still talking. You might as well make use of the time to burn some calories
2. Manually wash Your dishes
Manually washing dishes instead of the dish washer will give you an extra burn in your arms. It will also help you save some water at the same time.
3. Take the road less taken
When you are with your friends, and they want to take a shortcut to get to where you want to go, find a longer route. It may be cumbersome, but it'll definitely make you walk a little more and those extra steps add up
4. Lift your own groceries with a basket
Using a basket to get the groceries will make you work harder rather than pushing a grocery cart.
5. Get Busy in front of the TV
Yank those batteries out of the remote and force yourself to get up to change the channel. Better yet, workout in front of the TV, doing simple exercises like jumping jacks, lunges, squats and arm circles.
There are plenty more of these ideas, but the ones I have just listed will be a great start. Enjoy them and apply them to your daily lives.
