Do you want to save your marriage? You might have attended countless seminars or read many self-help books that did little for you. Does it look like everything you do makes everything even worse? You just might be doing certain things the wrong way.
See One Seen All
Because you have lived with your partners for years does not make you a mind reader. Never assume that you know what your spouse is going to say or how your spouse feels.
Your spouse could just have been hiding certain emotions totally unrelated to the situation at hand. You must learn to communicate and understand your partner if you want to save your marriage.
Lies Lies Lies
There is never an excuse for telling lies. Whether you are doing it to hide your feelings or shield events from the past it is going to destroy your relationship if your spouse finds out eventually.
Your spouse is going to find it very hard to believe you from then on turning a suspicious head at everything you do or say.
Do You Apologize A lot?
There is nothing wrong with apologizing for things you have done. The problem comes when you apologize all the time instead of coming up with a plan not to do them again. This makes you look insincere.
Another problem is when you apologize even for things that you didn't do. You might think you are doing this for the sake of peace. But it makes you look cheap and desperate. This is not a smart way to save your relationship.
Accept responsibility. No one is perfect.
Pressure is a No-No
It is understandable that you are stressed out when your marriage dangles over a cliff. But it will topple over when you cry, plead or tell your spouse you cannot live without them or your kids will not be the same.
Avoid using your marriage as leverage for everything that needs to be done to save it.
Action Speaks
This is the most dangerous thing to do but yet most people fall into this hole. Do nothing and hope things would pan themselves out. When you see problems in your marriage do not take a back seat and watch your marriage die. Do what needs to be done and save your marriage from divorce.
So before you start running up and down looking for ways to save your relationship, examine yourself and your marriage. The answer might just be closer to you than you think.
So is your relationship in trouble? Do you want your ex back or do you want to save your marriage?
If so, I suggest you check this out and save your relationship before it's too late.
