Everyone wants to make some extra money at one point or another, the problem is often figuring out how exactly to do it. Fact of the matter is, there are many ways to make some extra money without building an actual business online.
But how do you do this? Here are my 3 favorite ways to achieve this goal.
1.) Selling items - A very good way of making money is to sell things over Craigslist and eBay. If you have a bunch of stuff you don't need or use anymore, put them up as a listing and let it sell itself. However, this isn't limited to just selling your own stuff. Sell stuff for friends and take a percentage, or if you have a little investment money you can go to garage sales and buy things at an absolute bargain to resell.
2.) Selling services - If you have the ability to write or proofread or edit video or do graphic design or anything really you can sell your services for cash. Find some people that need the service done and simply offer to do it at a below industry standard price. This can put a good amount of money in your pocket in no time.
3.) Leveraging people - What I mean by this is simply profiting off of other peoples talents and abilities. If you know other people that have specific talents or abilities, why not offer to find them work in exchange for a 25% cut on their payment? Most people will not know how to market themselves properly and will agree to this. What I usually do is get 5 or 6 people with the same talent and get samples from each of them to organize in a folder. Then I find clients by using various promotional methods and provide them with the sample that best fits what they are looking for. Once they sign on I forward the info to the worker, they take care of the work and send it to me and I forward it to the client after receiving payment. Once payment is received I send the worker their 75% and move on to the next client.
These are all great ways to make some extra money, and if you know what you are doing it can be set up today very quickly. If done correctly, any of these methods could be turned into an online business that generates a good amount of income. However, in order for this to happen, the right steps must be taken that lead to this goal.
