It takes a prospect between two to five minutes to read an article. While this is not much time, it is much more time that someone spends on the average web site. An article will hold their attention for a longer period of time.

When someone takes the time to read your words they begin to experience your personality, how you think, and how you approach and solve problems. This will naturally raise the know, like and trust factor in your prospect.

Video Articles

Now here is the part that I am really excited about. You see, I've been using video articles to build my business for years. In a video article you simply talk about the major points of an article in a video. The power is in the visual component that speaks to people because we are all so accustomed to watching TV and movies.

You can do a "talking head" video with bullet points, which features you on screen talking about the main points that are displayed on the screen.

You can do a screen capture video which shows the viewer how to do something as you talk them through the steps. You can also combine these two strategies in the same video.
