Everyone is a rush to get married or to get in a serious relationship, my question is why? I am going to give you some very good reasons to stay single. So the next time someone asks you why you are single you can give them some of these reasons.

• Your career, profession, or business will benefit - when you are in a relationship your significant other will require you to spend some quality time with them. When you are single you have nobody to answer to and you work the necessary hours to get the job done.

• You look better and are healthier - The majority of the time after one locks a significant other or ties the knot they let themselves go. There is no need to eat right or exercise if you have no one to impress. Where as most single people try to keep in shape to attract the opposite sex.

• You can have your own personal space - Think of not having to hear the nagging about the mess you made in the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, etc. You have total freedom to do whatever you like in your own personal space.

• You will save money - While single people may spend a lot of money trying to meet other single people by going out and having drinks. It's no where near the money you will spend if you or hooked up with someone. For instance you have to buy gifts as well as going out expenses if you have a significant other. Another example is if married you will have a ton of big ticket items such as home remodels, family vacations, children expenses.

• The sex is better - while there are benefits to sleeping with the same person such as knowing what they like or dislike the sex can get boring. When you're single you can experience something different every time. Just imagine not having to picture you having sex with someone else when you have you eyes closed.

• You can watch whatever you want on TV - Imagine not having to sit thru a boring show on TV anymore. Single people can watch whatever they like without having to worry about what the person thinks. No more having to share the TV and watching something you just can't stand.

• You can spend more time with friends - The first thing everyone tells their friends once they get in a relationship is that nothing will change and they will still hang out. This almost never comes to pass. Slowly you start to see less and less of each other. So when you're single you can have a friend's night out whenever you like and have no one to answer to.

• You will be able to find what you need in a relationship - Being single offers one advantage most people don't realize or won't admit to. The fact is being single allows you the opportunity to learn about yourself. The longer you're single the most likely the better your relationship will be when you get into one. You will have no regrets on not doing something and you will have plenty of stuff to reminisce about. Without putting yourself out there, how can you truly find yourself?

So see being single is not that bad after all. You will have more money and freedom to experience life the way you want to. So the next time someone hassles you about being single give them points from this article.
