Can you run your vehicle on h2O, lets first discuss alternatives to gas. You may have noticed lately that there is a lot of talk about alternatives to gas to run your car.
The options that some of the major motor manufacturers, Toyota and Honda to name 2, are adopting is the ability to to enable your vehicle to switch between a gas guzzler to an electric motor, without the driver even being aware the change has taken place. The Toyota does this using its patented power split device and this system is available on the ever increasing Toyota Prius.
Honda and Toyota offer the driver, a method of using gas above 30mph and if your speed should drop below this target, then the hydro electric motors take over. When the car is operating on gas, it re-charges the electric motors, to help again with the environmental impact of driving a car.
Another alternative is the NGV, natural gas vehicles, which are cheaper to manufacture and will give you twice the economy with only a 10% drop in power. The big advantage over the hybrid method is that you can get your own current vehicle professionally converted for around $2000. There may even be tax benefits if this is completed in the vehicles first 12 months.
Bio diesel is simply a soybean by-product or a vegetable plant oil instead, your diesel will accept this product with NO conversion, but your exhaust might smell of fried food from the rear.
Some of the alternatives to gas, have drawbacks, the hybrid for example is not all that environmentally friendly if you consider the cradle to grave philosophy. What I mean is the cost of manufacture, transport and disposal make the cost of this type, greater than running a Cherokee Jeep for example in the long run.
Can you run your vehicle on h2O - Yes you can. there are several products in the marketplace today, that will supply you with a detailed instructions on how to build yourself a kit, that will utilize the electric power of your 12V battery to separate h2O into Hydrogen and Oxygen, the Hydrogen is then used as the power source, since it is highly explosive (Hindenberg) to power your car in conjunction with your regular gas, giving you an instant increase in your mpg, whether your vehicle is petrol or diesel, so yes, you can definitely run your vehicle on h2O.
You may be thinking, if it is possible to run your vehicle on h2O, why aren't the major car makers doing it, and that is because they prefer to sell you an alternative to gas like the hybrid system that costs the earth, literally.
