Windows 7 is a new operating system that Microsoft just released in late 2009, and has quickly become one of the most popular in the World, with millions of people using it every day. However, many people are slowly discovering that Windows 7 is prone to running slowly and with errors. This is an unfortunate problem which is caused by a part of your system called the 'registry'.
The registry is basically the central nervous system for your computer, allowing you to store all your settings and information inside, allowing your computer to save & recall a number of different things that makes your computer personalized to you. With information such as your latest emails to your desktop icons kept in the registry, it's one of the most important and frequently used parts of your PC, which is constantly being damaged.
The problem with the registry is that when you use your system, 100's of settings and important files are being used every day. This makes Windows highly confused, leading it to save many of these settings in the wrong way. This makes your computer very unreliable and slow, as it takes a lot longer to read the files it needs. This is where registry cleaners come in handy, because they allow you to quickly fix all the potential registry problems that are in your computer.
Using a registry cleaner in Windows 7 is very simple - you just need to download a registry cleaner from the Internet (I'll show you where to get one from) and then install it. After it's on your PC, you then need to get it scanning your system, which will send it through the registry, finding any problems that are in there. Typical registry cleaners will find a few hundred errors, which you then need to instruct the cleaner to fix by clicking the "fix errors" button.
Registry tools are very effect ways to fix Windows 7, but because this new operating system has a lot of new features and settings inside the registry, many cleaners will actually delete a lot of "healthy" registry settings, making your computer even more damaged than before. This is a big problem which many cleaners are responsible for, making it vital you get the best cleaner for your PC.
