I have bought my fair share of bad cars in my time and I genuinely think that if someone had offered me better advice, i could have avoided a great deal of mistakes along the way. I intend to offer you some kind of guide so you don't make the same errors of judgment.
When I turned sixteen, my parents helped my buy an eighty-two Toyota Tercel. It has a manual transmission and worked really well. I kept it for two years and did all of the maintenance on it. I changed the brakes and tuned up the motor when it was needed. I also installed a sound system that was state of the art and really loud. I was really proud of the car and I had it until my brother crashed it and it was a total loss when I was seventeen.
When I went off to college, I bought a Saturn Sedan from my employers. I really would have like to buy a Used Jeep, but the deal they made me was one I just could not pass up. They had the car as a family car and they wanted to sell it, so we agreed on a fair price and I purchased the car from them. They even helped me to find a loan that has a great interest rate on it. I really loved that car because I did not have to do any work to it because it was a newer car that did not require hardly any maintenance. All I really had to do was get the car to the oil change place every three thousand miles or so. That was really all of the maintenance that I had to do and I really like that about that car.
After the Saturn, my dad sold me his Pontiac Grand Am. I really liked that car because it was a sporty model and it had a lot of power under the hood. It had a really nice leather interior with some amazing heated seats that were really important in the dead of winter in the Midwest. It was not as much fun as a Used Jeep would have been, but I really liked and enjoyed that car.
The car I have now is a Honda Civic. I got it for my practical car and I am still looking for a Used Jeep as my fun car. Some day soon, I will be getting a Used Jeep and I will be completely satisfied with all of the cars that I have had along the way.
