If you're looking to promote your business with article marketing, or if you're making a living off of writing articles for businesses, then like many writers, you need to find the most effective writing style to accomplish your goal of getting customers interested in the business. This isn't hard to do, and one thing that customers love to read about is what has happened in reality.
You can use real examples to connect with people on a new level. Customers can read about a business's facts or figures, but what will interest them the most is a real-world example, especially one that actually happened. For example, if you're writing an article about fishing poles, you might give an example of how one fisherman decided to switch to a new pole style, and his or her decision-making process, and what ultimately happened, whether his or her fishing improved with the new pole or if they returned to their original pole.
Something else that customers love is a story that they can learn from. Specifically, this is a story about some other unwary customer making some sort of mistake, and then the writer informing the reader how they can avoid making the same mistake. Customers respond very well when given examples that they can learn from and avoid making mistakes that others have made.
Your examples don't necessarily have to be real life examples. If you're an article writer for a number of different clients, chances are you haven't talked to this fisherman who bought a new pole. As long as your examples are plausible, it doesn't matter if they are real or not. Customers will still find them approachable and useful.
