No Pain No Gain Is A Myth
There are literally thousands of lose belly fat exercises out there, making it extremely difficult to narrow down your search to a few key exercises which you can practice daily. The focus should not be on how many different exercises you can perform, but on finding the right mix of a few simple exercises that you will be able to adhere to every day, since it's consistency, exercising day in and day out, which is truly how to lose belly fat quickly. The following two exercises may not be what you're used to when it comes to losing belly fat. Instead of straining with sit-ups or crunches, these exercises are based on traditional yoga practices and focus on deep breathing.
The First Exercise:
Sit comfortably on the floor in any way you wish, preferably cross-legged. Breathe in very slowly through the nostrils only (you may wish to close your mouth), and as you are inhaling, slowly lift up your stomach. Breathe in as deeply as possible and hold the position at its climax for 10 to 30 seconds. When you reach a point of mild discomfort, slowly exhale and return to a sitting position. Please don't forget that "no pain no gain" is a myth, so please never force these forms. Instead, enjoy these exercise at a peaceful pace focusing on the pattern of your breath. The important point to keep in mind is that you really do need to be lifting your stomach during the inhalation, otherwise you won't achieve the benefits expected.
The Second Exercise:
This one is similar but focuses even more on the breathing aspect. Again, begin in a seated position and inhale extremely deeply through your nose only. This time, instead of lifting your abdominals at all, simply focus on pushing your stomach out. Envision your stomach being filled with air as you take in your breath. After a brief pause, begin to exhale, also through your nose, as rapidly as possible. Force your stomach to squeeze in as you do this. You can again imagine that the balloon full of air is now rapidly being expelled. As you can see, this exercise focuses on breathing alone and is incredibly simple, without any of the force and strain of the traditional lose belly fat exercises. The goal should be to perform this exercise in 10 repetitions as rapidly as you can.
Keep these Yoga style breathing lose belly fat exercises in mind as alternatives to the traditional strenuous forms such as sit-ups and crunches. And again, don't forget, "no pain no gain" is a myth. In fact, if you perform exercises to lose belly fat which are too strenuous, this might lead you to give up prematurely. This is exactly the direction you don't want to follow, as it's consistency which is key. Therefore, choose a few simple forms that you'll actually be able and happy to follow every day. This is a great way to build confidence, allowing you to move on up to harder forms as you progress.
