Twilight Eclipse - Red and Black Party Theme

Who will Bella choose? Edward or Jacob? How is all this going to turn out we wonder? The classic love triangle still sells. It's a quandary how this age-old situation keeps people coming back for more. Nevertheless, it is big right now. In fact, stellar. So, what better time for a themed party than this?

* Start decorating with red and black crepe paper streamers. Add some white in there, if you want a tri-color effect. Twist two of the colors together and hang across the ceiling, then stream two other colors together and hand them in between the other streamers. Then do solid colors for certain areas such as around the food table, or the game section.

* Speaking of food, serve red and black food. Apples are a must. Maybe black licorice. Red punch is the obvious choice for the beverage. For a great effect, put some dry ice in the punch and let it bubble. Go ahead and let your imagination run wild with the food. Make a cake shaped like an apple with a bite taken out of it, and write 'Bitten', or 'Bite Me' on it.

* Set up a cardboard cut-out of one of the stars. Or, if the budget allows, use more than one. It is the greatest addition to a party if you put one of these in the entry or the by the food. It makes for an incredible conversation piece. It changes the feel so that you almost think that they are there. You can always put it up in someone's bedroom after the party is over. It would make a terrific prize for one of the games, too.

* Put up all kinds of paraphernalia about the movies on the walls. Phrases from the movie cut out of cardboard, or anything to do with the characters, will add a great deal to bare walls. Simply writing their names and plastering them all over works great.

* One of the games you could play is the relay race where you pass the apple from neck to neck, using only your chin. If the apple gets dropped, it has to go to the front of the line again. This works really well with practically any age group. The only one it might not be appropriate for are little ones. 'Pin the Lips on Belle or Edward' would be a fun game to try depending on if your guests were boys or girls, respectively.

There are lots of choices when it comes to throwing a themed party, but having one that is all the rage will be the rage.
