You are trying again to get back together with your ex? Have you thought why it is going to be any different this time than the last? At some point you probably thought you had managed to bring things round but unfortunately it did not work out that way.

Did you tackle the problems too late or did you just not see them coming? What or who was it that upset the applecart this time round and what could have been done differently to have avoided it? It is not going to work out unless there is something fundamental that is changed. You are wasting your time if you try to get together if you try to kid yourselves that there were never any problems in the first place. If the marriage first ended because a problem was never addressed, it will likely happen again, regardless of how many times you get back together, unless the problem in question is resolved.

You must solve the original problems prior to trying to get back together. If you cannot do it alone, look for outside counseling. Where the past problems were caused by your ex partner make sure they have taken the necessary steps to solve them. If they do nothing about them you can be sure that you are just wasting a lot more of your time.

Where both of you had problems that have already forced you to separate, you will need counseling help to sort matters out between you prior to getting back together. If you go straight back without taking the necessary steps to sort out old sore points, you will probably find yourself wanting out again in no time at all. So, just do not do it to find the same old problems immediately rearing their ugly heads. Avoid going from one heart ache to another.

You want to try to get back together again with your ex because you truly believe you love each other and want to love each other forever, fix the old problems first of all, before they end your relationship once and for all.
