Right or wrong, everyone has a strong opinion on how they look. It isn't always positive neither. We tend to over emphasis or stress out about our image. Although this is not that surprising as in today's world everything is so image centered. Maybe that's in part why many of us have low opinions of ourselves.

It's also true that the majority of us have features we like, and some we are very happy with. We are comfortable in our own environment at home but if we have to go out we get all worked up. So basically because we inhabit an appearance driven world we get paranoid about certain parts of our bodies or maybe even the whole thing. Because we are so looks obsessed it's good for exploitative advertising and the fashion industry, even though it's bad for ourselves.

Everyone has a certain shape to their face, it may be broad, thin, round or long. You can have a combination of shapes. Many people have a fatter face. But this in no means equates to you being unattractive.

So nearly a new area has emerged in the physical health/looks world; how to reduce face fat. It makes some folks more uncomfortable if they are carrying a little extra face fat instead of having it elsewhere on the body. So if face fat really bothers you there are some simple ways you can try to reduce it.

Try some facial toning exercises. It can make you look like you have a thinner face. It does this by tightening up the fat, but it won't actually reduce the size of your face probably.

Try to reduce your overall weight by reducing calories on starting an exercise plan. If you lose a few pounds you will notice this on your face. It can help you to lose puffiness around the cheekbones and chin areas. The body will lose weight and shape quicker before the face so keep at it.

Next bring us into the dubious world of face creams. Personally I believe that no lotions can reduce fat. But many claim to tone up your face. And we spend millions of dollars per year on them, so it's worth a shot.

Finally you can try changing your make up or hair style, any excuse! Once more this will not reduce face fat, but it can flatter the shape of your face and compliment your shape. Consult a make up specialist and hair stylist for tips and ideas. They will probably have transformed people of all shapes and sizes and may have something up their sleeves that you can benefit from.
