Was Jacquelyn Dwyer killed in a freak accident or was she murdered? Tyler, her fiancee, is determined almost to be point of being obsessed to find out the truth.
Attorney Ty Buchanan seems to have everything going for him. Then, in a moment, his world started to fall apart. As he is preparing for an important case, he receives news that his fiancée has been killed in an accident. There is one problem - this was no normal accident. Ernesto Bonilla killed his wife and then committed suicide by jumping off an overpass and ended up landing on Jacquelyn's car killing her.
After the funeral service, a man who was dressed rather sloppy, approached Ty and said something that really made his head spin. This man said Jacquelyn did not die in the accident but was murdered by someone. The only problem is that this man requested money to give Ty more information. Ty gave him the money and then went to the police with the information. The police were not much help. They assumed Ty was someone who was grieving and this was his way of handling the situation. This left Ty no choice but to start his own investigation.
Does Tyler find out what really happened to Jacquelyn?
James Scott Bell is a talented writer and the reader will realize this soon after reading the very first page. He has a special flair for character development and descriptive details. I feel these are two of the most important attributes in a novel. The plot will keep the reader guessing and don't be too sure about your assumptions. This is a fast paced novel and will surely keep the reader turning the pages. Be sure to add "Try Dying" to your reading list. At the end of this book you will probably be thinking "Wouldn't this make a great movie?".
