Another way to treat cholera is to use onions. Take thirty grams of onion and seven black peppers that should be pounded in a grinder and make a mixture of both. This mixture has to be taken at least thrice a day.

In the early stages of cholera, fresh juice of bitter gourd is an effective medicine A teaspoonful of lime juice mixed with two teaspoonfuls of bitter guard juice and equivalent amount of white onion juice to be given at least twice a day.

You can also take one glass of cucumber leaves juice mixed with an equal quantity of coconut water and it has to be given in doses of 30-60 ml.

Another very effective way is to boil four grams of cloves in three litres of water until water remains one and half litre. It should be given to the patient several times a day.
