The decision to lose weight is easy to make, but hard to stick with. I know, I've been in your shoes. Sometimes all you need is just a little nudge and you are already there, training every day, not eating junk or any unhealthy food. There are many reasons for failed weight loss goals. For some people it is quite easy to make this decision and stick with it. And usually these are the ones that get great results after a short time of dieting and exercising. This fact is connected to the idea that we are not all the same, and while some tend to burn calories a lot easier, others on the other hand have great issues with losing weight. Now, this doesn't mean that you are doing anything wrong.
The reasons can simply be out of your own control for failed . The first reason might be the goal itself. People tend to set up to high virtually unreachable goals for themselves. This is wrong. Don' start weight loss plan by immediately believing that you will be capable of losing 20 pounds in just one week. Don't set impossible goals, no matter how little you eat or how much you exercise it will not work. You will only get discouraged and fail. So set up some realistic, simple goals. Remember small steps is what every beginner needs.
The second reason might be that you are not persistent enough. If things aren't working how you have planned for the first week, don't give up. Be persistent, the results are just around the corner. Leave the weight scale in the closet and just stick with your diet.
So make a realistic plan and stick to it. Third possible reason is completely out of your control, and that is your body or to be more exact, your metabolism. Some people just have faster metabolism then others. The only thing that you can do is try and do your best to be as much active as you can to speed up your metabolism while eating fiber rich foods.
Don't get discouraged just because your friend burns calories faster then you. Give it some time, and you will get there. The most common misconception among people is the fact that they need to train at least three hours a day. This is wrong, the amount of training does not equal the amount of calories burnt. There is one amount of calories that your body will allow you to burn a day, and if you are starving yourself, there is a good chance you are going to lose those pounds.
So don't overdo, all you need are some 30 minutes of exercise and that will do the trick. If you exercise too much you start burning your muscle tissue thus getting a completely opposite result. So avoid coming up with the reasons for failed weight loss goals, but instead, concentrate on getting the plan and moving into action so you can have the body you want!
