It is widely recommended that the use of prescription drugs be used as a last resort when treating panic attacks. There are several avenues that should be explored first. Healthy living is of the utmost importance when dealing with this condition.  This includes exercise, proper diet, sleep, and keeping the right vitamins in your body. Here is a list of the three most important vitamins used for treating panic attacks.

1. B-vitamins:

Many people who have panic attacks have low levels if b-vitamins in their body. Chronic stress can deplete the body of vital nutrients so it is especially important for panic attack sufferers to supplement. And B-vitamins are critical when attempting to prevent panic attempts. Symptoms of B-vitamin deficiency include: irritability, emotional instability, restlessness, anxiety, and fatigue.

B-vitamins work together so they should be taken in a complex rather than individually. Some are more critical than others, but because they work together the less critical ones become just as important.

2. Magnesium:

Studies have shown that people who suffer panic attacks often have low levels of magnesium in there bodes. Magnesium is responsible for over 300 of the human body's enzymatic reactions and hormones produced by stress can quickly deplete magnesium stores. So panic attack sufferers can benefit greatly by supplementing with magnesium. There is pretty long list of symptoms for magnesium deficiency including everything from facial tics to constipation. Most of them can be symptoms of other illness. But your doctor will be able to tell you if you have a magnesium deficiency and prescribe the proper dose of supplementation based on your needs.

3. Calcium:

Taking calcium in conjunction with magnesium can be very beneficial. Nerve cells become overactive when the bodies supply of calcium runs low which can cause anxiety. And anxiety can lead to panic attacks.

It is also recommended that along with taking vitamins used for treating panic attacks that panic attack suffers have a reliable treatment program. For information on one that is highly recommended and claims a 97% success rate go to http://stoppanicattacks411.info . Good luck and may you be attack free!
