Many people have heard of "Todos Santos" but don't realize that it can mean two things. People must be able to step away from the "resort experience" to appreciate Todos Santos and while lots of Cabo vacationers have heard about the town where the Hotel California exists... few actually visit. Despite the legend the Hotel California is worth a visit.

The best approach to a two week vacation in Todos Santos is flying into La Paz or Cabo, booking a rental car, and driving into town before dark. You'll find that the population swells slightly from October to March and things do grind to a halt in the late sweltering days of summer (August - September).
