So you are sitting in StarBucks and a guy sitting across from you starts a conversation with you. He has a nice trusting smile, looks professional with his laptop and a nice casual look-Khakis and letigre shirt, plus well groomed.

So then he says. " what do you do?" you tell him your profession. Then he says, "would you like to see about this business opportunity?"

In your mind you breath a sigh while outwards you maintain a smile and say what is it about. He says, "My company has the top of the line vitamins and herbs." You take his card and tell him thanks, but know you are totally not interested; and will not call him.

This is not personal, you feel that way because of the other eight people that approached you this year with a strikingly similar pitch. In addition to that, you remember in the past those cheezy GAS-YOUR-HEAD-UP meetings of guys in suits giving testimonies of making ten thousand dollars a month-leaving out the fact that they are the only 4% in the company making such an income.

When there is to much hype and little emphasis on the uniqueness of the product, One should always beware of these kind of meetings.

I don't know about you, but I honestly gave up on Network marketing; I was burned out from the same cheezy products, hotel meetings, rehearsed sales pitches and most of all the confusing payplans and on-going rise in qualification for pay fees ($40-$80 a month).

Because of many people doing illegal things in these in the past, many people felt the same way. When any thing sounds similiar, no matter what a person is saying to them-looking excited-they shut down.                                       

I soon found out that the answer to the dillema one may feel about joining a program or not is to do your homework. If so, they will find, seperate from bad ones, there are a good amount of legitimate affiliate/network marketing companies out there that have deliberately created new systems and images to be realized as good businesses that hold integrity.
