Having a baby is one of the most beautiful things that can happen in your life. But not everything is so beautiful after the birth. Yes, here were are going to talk how to lose after pregnancy weight. But keep in mind, you are still recovering, and you cannot do anything unhealthy especially if you are breastfeeding!

The first thing that you have to keep in mind is that you cannot start with some strict diet right away. You need some three to four months of healthy diet and rest immediately after the pregnancy. Even sleep deprivation can be causing you to have those pounds stick with you.

There are a number of reasons why after pregnancy weight is sticking around, but as much as they are important, the health of your baby and yours it the most important. Everything that you eat and do is directly affecting your baby if you are breastfeeding. You need a healthy diet to preserve your energy since breastfeeding takes away at least 500 calories a day. So this is great. This is also why you can easily lose some 15 to 20 pounds at the very beginning. Later it will be very difficult to lose an extra 20 pounds, regarding that you gained in total some 30 to 40 pounds. At the very beginning, your body is getting rid of all the extra fluid and some calories. Later is when the real battle begins and when you need to lose baby weight.

Breastfeeding alone will not be enough; you will need some extra help as well. When you have finally stood on your feet, the very best way to lose the after pregnancy weight is to get a balanced healthy meal that has a lot of fruits, vegetables, and protein. Than add to that light walks around 20 minutes long. Even now, you should get rid of the junk food such as chips and soda.

Exercise is not only good for your body but it is good for your spirit. Off course, that you will feel exhausted after the pregnancy but you can always start with some light exercise at home first and then after some time when you have found someone to baby sit for a while you can always take a long walk or even a jog in the morning. 5 tips will not be all together enough to lose pregnancy weight, but they can be a very good starting point for future steps!
