Do a little bit of research on your fish and you will be better prepared to locate and catch that specific fish.
Conditions- Different fish will respond differently to lures and bait. Not all fish eat the same thing. While one fish may go after a wriggling worm, another fish may be more attracted to something with color.
Lures- Depending on which type of fish you are after, you will need to know what kind of lure works best. The weight of the lure is important as well as the color. When you know what your fish is most attracted to, it will make it easier to purchase the correct lure. It will save you time and money.
Attraction- How do you plan to attract the little critters to your favorite spot? Is your fish lured by the smell of certain bait or is it something else. Take this into account.
When you do your research on the fish you want to catch, you will feel confident knowing you have a pretty good shot at catching that big one.
