Below I am going to go through some great free techniques you can use to build a mass of free traffic to your website or blog. These are great techniques for two reasons. Reason number one is that they are all free techniques. Reason number two is because you will get quality traffic to your website that will convert to buyers. I promise you if you follow these techniques you will be generating great content in no time.
- Social Media: If you don't have a Facebook fan page tied to your website, you need to get one right now. Fan pages are a great way to interact with your fans and grow your influence on the buying decisions they make. Make sure that you are posting regularly on your fan page. You want to make at least two posts every week. Video posts are a great way to communicate directly with your fans. Facebook is also great because they have their own video uploading integrated with their fan pages. So you can upload your video files right to Facebook with the click of a button.
- E-book creation: You may be thinking that creating e-books that you give away for free is the worst possible way to generate traffic but it actually works really well. Go ahead and write a five to ten page e-book that includes a link to your website at the end. You want to make sure that you are offering quality content to your readers, so don't make a crappy e-book or you will have way less traffic. Give this e-book out to whoever you can. People with e-mail lists are a great help because they can e-mail your e-book out to every one on their list with the click of a button. Start making these free e-books and you'll be amazed by the results.
- Blog Posting: Writing content for blogs is a very good way to build free traffic. Contact blog owners by e-mail and ask them if you can write an article for their blog. You might have to write some longer more thought out content for this but the returns will be well worth it. Go ahead and build a list of blog owners and start contacting them. They will let you include a link to your website at the end of your article, which will drive a ton of content back to your site.
Now that you understand these three steps you are ready to get out there and start generating a bunch of free traffic to your website.
