You might be writing articles for link building purposes or to get traffic or to get sales, or maybe all three, but did you know that you can put your articles to good use in many other ways that are also beneficial to your web site? It's true, here are three other great ways that you can futher benefit from the articles you write:
Content Sites and Blogs
Post your articles to content sites, creating a nice portal site that links to your main web site. Post articles to sites like Squidoo, Weebly, WetPaint and many more. Or use the articles to create blogs on sites like WordPress, Vox or LiveJournal. You can post articles once a day, once a week or once a month, building links and traffic.
Catching Email Leads
Put together an email newsletter or auto responder series using your articles and collect emails of people interested in the subject. This is great for getting targeted email leads and building a valuable list of subscribers that you can cash in on in many ways.
eBooks
Maybe you have dozens or hundreds of articles that you've written over the years. Maybe you submitted them to a few article directories, then figured that was it. Well, if you've written sets of articles that are in the same niche, why not put together a free eBook? It's pretty simple to do. Just open a Word document and paste in your articles, then arrange them in a format like an eBook, so it doesn't just look like you've pasted in a set of articles. You might even add a picture or two, then write some intro text and update any articles that might be out of date. Then turn that Word document into a PDF file by saving it as a PDF in Word or if you don't have that option in your version of Word, then use one of the free services on the web that offer conversion to PDF. There you go! You have an eBook! Now, you can use this eBook in many ways. Give it away as a bonus, give it away as a gift for signing up for something, use it to get subscribers to a newsletter or submit it to eBook directories. There's many ways to use a free eBook to boost business. Or put together a really great eBook using your articles and you can even sell it!
