After investing in the system itself and installation fees, it should not cost you for a very long time.

2. Nothing ever happens around here, so a home security system isn't necessary.

Robbery and intrusion can happen anywhere, even in the safest, sleepiest parts of America. And regardless of how unlikely a break-in may be, it is never impossible. Think of how you would feel if, God forbid, something should happen. Wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry?
