Three Easy Steps to Take For Yeast Free Diets

Expert Author Pauline Kenyanya

People who suffer from yeast infections need to go on a yeast free diet for a period of three to six weeks so as to improve their health and well being. Yeast free diets are diets that eliminate yeast from your daily food intake. This is because a yeast infection sufferer's body (also medically defined as Candida) cannot control the overgrowth of beneficial bacteria in the stomach and intestines resulting in various disorders. These disorders include:- asthma, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome and even attention deficit disorder.

If you follow these three easy steps for yeast free diets, you can become candida free:

1. Change your diet to deny the yeast any nourishment.

Processed and sugary foods need to be completely avoided in the three to six weeks duration because these foods promote yeast growth. For example, dairy products like sour cream, yogurt, cheese and other fermented foods. Foods that are high in starch and alcoholic beverages need to be eliminated from your diet as well due to the fact that they tend to break down into sugars easily.

2. Adapt your body to a more healthy lifestyle of eating unprocessed healthy foods.

This helps to combat recurring yeast infections and be completely cured. You have to consciously make the effort to maintain a healthy diet full of unprocessed foods, which is what the body really needs. This includes; having more vegetables, meats, eggs, beans and whole grains. Adding certain helpful supplements as prescribed by your doctor like probiotics is great. These supplements can be found at your local health food store.

3. Include a reasonable exercise regimen to promote your overall health and wellness. Many who adhere to this regimen say that they feel energetic and less fatigued and have also lost weight in the process. Although it may seem a bit restrictive to follow the above steps for combating the over production of candida, it is important to keep in mind that you are only doing this for a short while and that the main goal is to restore your body back to a normal natural balance. You can slowly re-introduce the restricted foods back into your diet after the duration has expired but track your body's reaction to them very carefully to avoid a recurrence. Of course, adapting a healthy lifestyle permanently is good for your overall well being and there are fun ways to incorporate enjoyable healthy foods while still adhering to yeast free diets. Besides, this will permanently cure your yeast infection and your body will regain its natural inner balance.
