An oldie yet still in fashion is the Alien Costume. For as far back as Roman times, For generations Aliens have frightened people. Alexander the Great wrote how alien crafts would follow him and his army as they conquered neighboring lands. All these stories gave rise to the alien Halloween costume. Below are three Alien Costume Ideas for Halloween.

Traditional Alien Costumes:

This costume is your traditional "alien costume from another planet" style. It normally comes with a rubber mask and a cloak or robe. The mask comes in the traditional alien style with large eyes and elongated head.

Movie Alien Costumes:

These are some of the more creative costumes. Some of the more popular movie costumes are Aliens and Predator. Both these costumes come in a more detailed rubber masks which accurately portray the creatures found in the movie. It is not uncommon for these costumes to come with accessories. Add-ons such as Predator hands, weapons, vests, face plates and armor are found for this costume. You can come up with a very elaborate costume within a descent price range.

Controversial Alien Costumes:

Although I do not have an opinion one way or another, I thought I would mention an area of costume that might be of interest. These costumes are more for those that either want to make a statement, strike up a conversation or cause some type of stir. They are generally targeted around hot topics like politics, law and other current events. These costumes are not for everyone, but for those that are brave enough to buy one, you will be  the center of attention at any event.
