Things We Should Know About Success! (Part II)

Expert Author Jose Luna

In a previous article of the same title I presented the problem problem of achieving true success as one which goes beyond behavioral modifications, I have also proposed inner change as one which cannot be accomplished by any human recourse, and one that requires the influence of the almighty God.

What am I implying?

The spiritual realm is ever present and ever influencing aspects of our lives which are unknown to us; many of those aspects of our lives were originally and intrinsically built into our belief system by those same spiritual forces to begin with.

Depending on which environment we were brought up in, those spiritual influences may have been positive or negative. The thing is that those spiritual influences do not necessarily relate to what kind of social standards we were brought up in; and they will play a role in our development regardless of whether we believe or not that they exist.

At some point in our lives we ought to realize that we need to attend to those neglected spiritual aspects, as they will be placing a damper on everything we do whether we like it or not.

The only way to deal with this matter is first recognizing that there is a world which influence our world and which determines a lot of what we do, the next step is to decide to take control of the portion of that spiritual realm which influences our environment.

This statement pops up a big question mark, and at this point we are either scratching our heads, or wondering where I am heading with this assertion.
Our soul receives instructions from either external influences from the environment and through our body, or from an internal source which is attached to our conscience (this is where the word conscious come from)

This is where it gets tricky and where many will just walk away and stop reading. But humor me and try to make sense of what I am about to say.

That internal source, which is supposed to be instructing our soul, is our spirit. Except that there was a time when a man named Adam made the foolish mistake of eating from a forbidden fruit under the influence of his beloved wife; and by doing this, he condemned all of us to eternal spiritual death. I will not expand into this part of the story, instead I will refer you to the Bible in the book of Genesis chapters two and three.

Having a dead spirit causes us to not have an internal person to give us proper instructions, so everything we learn and act upon, comes from the outside. The conscience do have a preprogrammed set of instructions, and although they are meant as guidance and alarm system to keep us from messing up, in most instances we tend to disregard, or even totally shut down the voice of conscience in our walk through life.

Before I can continue there is a need to summarize what has been said so far.

We cannot fully transform our fundamental set of believes in order to have a perfectly balanced successful life, because on our own there are too many variables which would need to be adjusted, and we are being constantly bombarded with a kaleidoscope of external influences which make the challenge even greater.

Therefore, we need our spirit to take over and start instructing our soul, so we can begin injecting positive transformational messages which would stick to our belief system with through the guidance of our spirit.

Yet if our spirit is dead, we obviously cannot do that.

There is a way to restore our spirit to life which many people do not like to hear, in fact there is only one way to restore our spirit to life and to give ourselves an opportunity for true success, for a true victorious life.

The Holy Spirit of God is ever present, and as opposed to the spiritual forces which lull in the air and which constantly and consistently supply us with not so desirable inputs. The Holy Spirit of God is always seeking to influence our lives in a positive way.

The problem is that in order for Him to be able to truly affect and modify our lives it needs our consent, and that consent can only be given through the son of God.

Please bear with me, I know this part might not be to your like, but that is the way things are, so here is the thought.

In order to be truly successful, in order for anyone to have a truly accomplished life, a life of balance in all aspects, the son of God has to come into his or her life.

Is this absolutely necessary? Well yes!, I could give you the long version, but in short, the same way Adam killed our spirit by eating that infamous forbidden fruit, Jesus, whom we call the second Adam, reverses the effect of this act of disobedience through one act of obedience which is the sacrifice at the cross.

So by welcoming the Lord Jesus Christ into our heart we have as he did an immediate resurrection from the dead. Our spirit becomes alive, and can start managing his affairs with our life in a proactive way.

There are many other aspects of this process which would need to be expanded and explained. You can find all this additional by following my writings past and future through EzineArticles or BlogSpot.

But let us conclude for now by saying that success is not a transitive word, and it is not just something we seek for certain aspects of our lives, it should be a pursuit for a whole life of joy and peace. There will always be factors which will appear to be stealing our sense of success, but if we surround ourselves by the love of God, and the presence of His son in our lives, all impossible things become possible, all of our dreams can become real, we can learn to dream better dreams and to see them come to pass as a matter of living, and when the golden times of age come, and the days of loss and sadness seem a far away dream, and when we find ourselves ready to receive our crown of Glory, we can move forward with the certainty that our lives just begin, and that our triumphs on this earth will just become blitz in the presence of the architect of life, our almighty God.
