In the last month of your wedding planning, most of all the major components of your wedding day should be planned (as to alleviate as much stress off of the bride, groom and wedding party). It may be beneficial to start thinking about how you and your significant other are going to enjoy the day. So ask the question, "What can I do, or what attitude can I have to make this day a truly wonderful experience?"
What If a Problem Arises?
Will there be kinks in your plan, or will something not quite turn out the way you wanted it? Most likely. The main question is how will you prepare yourself to calmly react to these kinks?
As much as you plan, there may always be issues that do arise. For example, on our wedding day, we had a brightly colored candy buffet table with yummy treats and goodies for our guest. On the same table (in the background) was our monogrammed ice sculpture. Lo and behold, the ice sculpture had a flimsy tray underneath and the sculpture started leaking-right around cake cutting time-all over the candy table.
I now enjoy watching our wedding video for my face once I realized the tray leaked...it's classic.
A Composured Smile
However, I composed myself, and continued smiling. The reason I was able to do this was because my mother, mother-in-law and wedding consultant hurriedly transported the candy jars, candy and satin pouches onto new trays. The candy was still edible for our guests, and most the guests did not know it had occurred as most were watching my husband and me cut the cake, and for people to make toasts.
Your wedding day may have some twists and turns, and ups and downs like a roller coaster, but that's life isn't it? This day is to celebrate your new life together, with the family members and friends you love. So if something does occur that doesn't fall in line with your wedding plans, know that you are surrounded by love and these people are there...for the bride and the groom.
