At the beginning I was so happy because those were the first dollars I made online! I even made a blog and spent countless hours on it, just to get a few referrals to those websites and make a few more dollars. What a huge waste of time! For a few dollars I was a slave of the owners of those websites that were making real money. Maybe I will put that blog back online with a huge banner at top saying "Stop wasting your time for pennies!"

For example, there are websites that promise that will put your money in high risk investments and you will get your money back after a few days with a very generous interest. First of all, they don't do any kind of investing with your money. They just pay a few members with the money of newer members, in order to trick more people to give them money. Then they close their website and run with the money. I learned this the hard way by losing money. After I figured what was really going on, I tried a different approach. I tried to get in to those websites early and withdraw fast, before they start running with my money in their pockets. Believe me, this doesn't worth the effort. The risk is too high, the activity is at the edge of legality and it turns out that at the end of the day those scammers will always be faster than you.
