The Story Behind Team Beachbody

Team Beachbody is a network marketing company that is in the ground floor phase of existence. The story behind how Team Beachbody came in to existence is rather intriguing. Carl Daikeler and his business partner Jon Congdon, Product Partners, LLC, founded Beachbody in 1998.

Carl and Jon met at Guthy-Renker, a beauty and fitness product marketing company and they worked on a number of national marketing campaigns together before co-founding Product Partners, LLC. Carl and Jon wanted to make sure the fitness program would deliver on its promises, so they joined the test group to become a product of the product. Along the way, they made adjustments so that real people, just like them, would stick with the program and achieve optimum results. They took Power 90 one step further by creating a step by step nutrition guideline and Michi's Ladder, which is a 3 tiered guideline to help you improve your diet.

Power 90 was a hit with stellar results. It validated the mission of the company which is to help people all over America get healthy and fit.

After the development and launch of P90X, the extreme in home boot camp, not getting as many sales as Carl had wanted, he pulled the infomercial and kept tweaking until it was a hit. When Carl believes in an idea, a product or a concept, he works with it until it is successful.

Even though, on a yearly basis, Beachbody was selling more and more in home fitness DVD's, obesity continued to climb. Carl realized this after extensive research on the trends of obesity. Plans were made and the foundation was laid. He then invited the most active customers in the community and message boards to California to offer them to be in the development stages of a coaching opportunity where they could get paid for what they were already doing in the community, helping people get healthy and fit and staying accountable. He presented his idea, asked for and then listened to their suggestions on how to better improve the message boards and community.

The ground work was paved and the coaching opportunity was launched. The founding coaches set out to spread the word to other like minded individuals who wanted to take their fitness to another level and to get paid while doing this. The structure for the Team Beachbody compensation plan is so simple, that it is easy for anyone with a little desire to succeed and make money immediately.
