The Salehoo Truth
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

I have been actively selling on Ebay for about 5 years. The stock that I sell is sourced from the local market as well as imported from abroad. My intention is not to brag but to position myself as someone who can give some advice to people when it comes to sourcing goods to resell for a profit.

I have seen an upsurge in people looking to start profitable businesses on Ebay and are constantly turning to drop ship directories like Salehoo to source goods and have them delivered. So I decided to let people in on the Salehoo truth or for that matter any premium wholesale or drop ship directory.

For starters, I fail to understand why anyone would want to pay to have access to a list of suppliers? I mean we live in an age where anything can be found with a little research online, there are dozens of free directories that will give you the same information as a premium list if not more, so why pay for it? Do a bit of ground work and you will be able to find all the information you need.

Secondly, the directories justify the cost of the list by saying that their list has the best suppliers and not only that, they have been verified and they accept secure payment methods. What does that mean for you? Absolutely nothing, I mean how do you tell by verifying someone and making them accept payments through secure methods that they are not dodgy? And if and when you do get ripped off by these suppliers there will be no help or support from the list owners because they can't do anything if a supplier runs off with your money, and you can be rest assured that they certainly will not reimburse you a penny you paid to the supplier, so what's the point of paying for a list?

Thirdly, I bet you know many people that view Ebay as a good place to make some residual income, and where do you think they will try and locate stock from? That's right, the same premium list you are using to buy yours from and the next thing you know is that half of your category on Ebay is filled with sellers offering the same stuff you are trying to shift.

Conclusion

By raising just a few points I hope I have been able to demonstrate the Salehoo truth. Ebay has become a very competitive market and in order to profit from it you have to think outside the box and do things differently otherwise you will pay a heavy price through financial loss, simply buying a list like Salehoo is not the answer.

I hope the Salehoo truth has helped you understand wholesale lists better, if you would like to profit from Ebay, be sure to visit [http://www.squidoo.com/the-salehoo-truth] as I show 2 good ways to profit from Ebay without a wholesale list.
