There are people who give the Rosary a bad name, they give this beautiful and wondrous devotion the pain and the stain of their own sin by praying it selfishly, desiring the opposite circumstances and/or outcomes that Jesus specifically speaks against; our own wills as opposed to the Will of the Father, which art in Heaven.
Some people also, construe the Rosary, as a means of all kinds of evil and devious deeds that can be performed under the guise of overt and pious religiosity, pointing their wicked index fingers like The Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz to we, who ask the question of the sincerity of motives.
Have you noticed in the world today, and we can be very sure that this happened before we came on the scene and will continue to happen after we leave, that people pray to God and turn around and kill their neighbors; or are in such a disgust that God became Man in human flesh that they emphatically deny Him at the very same time denying their very own existence without knowing it and stating that they see, while all the time they are blind and will receive the promise of Our Lord Jesus that, they will die in their sins because they have said that, they can see; may they enjoy the view!
Well then, how should we pray the Rosary? We should pray this devotion according to St. Dominic, with love and sincerity, offering our petitions and asking, not that our wills be done, but, God's will be done, in order that we pray the Rosary well, according to the mind and heart of love in the power of the Holy Spirit, which will bind us so that we not falter and be preserved to our proper end, eternal life; to know the one true God and Jesus Christ. John 17:3
Repent and Believe
Our happiness, lies in the knowledge of
-----How things work and how to work them,
For the good of self; the good of all mankind.
-----For the law of the mind is the law of belief.
We are exhorted to repent and believe, for to
-----Believe, is the beginning of everything.
For The Scrupulous
Be not be afraid of the touch of the Holy Spirit,
-----Believe in the power; the wisdom of the Gospels;
The Good News, 'That while we were yet sinners, the
-----Father sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, that whoso-
Ever believes in him, will have the power to become a
-----Son of God and have a share in everlasting life'.
The Dark Wall
I was in the dark; a darkness thicker than
-----the black pitch of night, walking without
Hope or focus, walking without sense or sight.
-----I heard my name called out to me in a voice
I did not recognize; yet, more familiar than my own.
-----I stopped, stood, looking towards the sound, and
The dark night, like a robe fell from around me.
-----In the light I saw the wall that had kept me in, so
That I would not stumble or fall. It was not the 'how'
-----or 'why', nor even that I should 'know', but the peace,
In the hope that it is by faith, it should be so. The Love
-----that conquers all is from within the searching heart.
