Without a doubt, one of the biggest keys to business success is consistency. Businesses are not build overnight, and those who enjoy the biggest successes are not those with the most luck, but rather those motivated and dedicated entrepreneurs who did what they had to do, day in and day out, to see their business goals all the way to fruition.
Here is a great strategy for taking consistent action. We need the six marbles in our left pocket or left side of our bag and transfer one marble to the opposite side each time we have carried out a positive action i.e. Seeing a purchaser, speaking to somebody about the business, and so on.
For example. We want to do it habitually. We have to have transferred all six marbles ( better still ten ) by the end of the day. We need to work on the actions not on the result. I may repeat that, we want to focus on the actions not on the results. When we are going hill climbing, if we might ceaselessly glance at the peak we might shortly trip up and fall. We want to focus on each step at a time, one after another and as certainly as the sun sets we'll reach our peak. Belief An unmitigated and real belief in our business, it's services and goods and what it can give it's clients.
It's no good having the best attitude in the world if one's sitting on one's own in a closed room not chatting to any person. So what's disposition aside from how one feels about oneself and others. I describe it like this. Your face is clear, completely clear and your perspective shines through whether or not it's negative or positive. The first second a possible buyer sees you perhaps even before you see him, your approach comes through.
Everyone knows that the very first thing any salesman has to sell is themselves even before they open their mouth. If they can not sell themselves they may as well turn round and go back home and return to bed. If they can not sell themselves they would not be well placed to sell packet of peanuts or a Mars bar. The bottom line is that you can build a thriving business, but only one brick at a time. With consistent action any goal, not matter how large, can be accomplished.
