Freezing on xbox 360 is caused by one thing, overheating. I remember the first time my xbox froze I took the fan in my bedroom and placed it on high pointed towards my xbox. I wanted to keep playing. But in a short time it froze again and did not work. I opened the door and sat the xbox next to the door to get some cool fresh air. That did not work either. I even thought that if I stuck a cold towel in the freezer for thirty minutes and then wrapped my xbox with the towel it would solve the problem. None of those worked long term. The Solution Is You

Honestly do not reward Microsoft with more of your money for a problem they caused. The truth is you are fully capable of fixing the problem of overheating all on your own. You have the tools already in your junk drawer. You can pop open the xbox. You can quickly fix the cooling system. You can close it back up. All of this can be done in less than an hour. It takes Microsoft six weeks!
