Many people still hand code their sites and are really paying the price in terms of productivity and money lost. Now I'll admit this scenario isn't perfect, because maybe just maybe his site doesn't look quite as good as the guy who's hand coded his. But, Guess What! He's able to pump out sites much more quickly meaning he can find a winner that much faster and make some money! Not only that but two other things as well make this a far better scenario. If he gets the right site builder software maintaining and updating those sites is a breeze. Also once his site starts getting sales he's able to outsource creation of a template and split test it to find the best one.
