It is a famous and true phrase. We all judge people by his or her image. But what really is part of that image? Is everything that refers to the visual like clothing, hair, accessories, shoes, how to sit, speak. etc.
Research indicates that it only takes 30 seconds to form a first impression of someone. In this short space of time, qualities such as personality, background, mood, level of sophistication and confidence are analyzed, facilitating or not our interaction with others. It may seem that the image is a passive concept, which exists only in the minds of our party and does not depend on us. However the picture is the result of our actions, and precisely because of this, can and should be managed.
The truth is that personal image is not only the clothes we wear, the clock that we use, the notebook we work with and much less the car we drive. Clearly these are important tools for making a good personal marketing. Today we are in an increasingly visual society, the personal image has become crucial for success in all areas of work. As a product, anyone who wants to enter the market needs a marketing effort to promote its own image, because the more valued is the professional, more businesses and customers will pay for it.
But what makes up your image? Not merely losing weight or the shape of your belly. It is an essence that goes from the way you talk, the way you walk, your gaze, and of course your physical appearance. How do you feel, your disposition, is also a large influence which contributes for that the people around you accept or reject you.
